Here's a site that gets at least 406 new posts daily.

It's http://www.freebiefriends.com It has freebies, free sigs, graphics tutorials, member contests, Arts & Crafts, Make Up tips & more.

I put decent downloads in thier freebie section.

www.elmtreeweb.co.uk

Well, I would put the site forward for worth bookmarking, but then I am biased as, I am the owner.

Seriously though, I would love your comments and suggestions. As after 3 months, I think it possibly could help with a redesign.

Thanks

Well, the content is there. But the bright green/blue interface can really turn people away.
Also, you need a brief description on the front page about the purpose of your site.
A good example is http://www.freedecentdownloads.com
Your banner could also do with some design work.....might like to post a request (after 15 posts) at gfxforum.net
Hope you take these constructive comments the right way wink.gif

Now thats what I call a quick reply. Thanks for the comments. Ok the design is crap I know wink.gif The site came about totally by accident so no real thought went into the design. After three months its now about time to move things forward. Thanks for your comments coathanger.

I have done a lttle redesgn of the banner and menu bar. I have been working with different designs. It is only the menu bar and menu I am interested in at the moment the rest of the site will come together later.

The link to the development page is http://www.elmtreeweb.co.uk/index2.php

Thanks for your comments

Thanks, I am gald you prefer it. I am not a graphic artist, but paint shop pro helps me a long. I have a lot to do with the main content which will then have a description of the site. I also need to code the pages so they match the rest of the site. I have a lot of work to do and to be honest now I have a work in progress design I can start again from scratch with the coding, as at the moment it is very dirty/messy.
